Today was the final day of the Global Blockchain Show and Web3 Summit, and attendees had the opportunity to listen to and learn from some of the industry’s brightest minds. From compliant DeFi solutions to the yet-unexplored intersections of blockchain, there was no shortage of insights and takeaways that will shape the industry over the coming months and quarters.
The “Building the Next Generation Enterprise with Web 3.0” panel at the Global Blockchain Show explored how Web3 technologies reshape traditional business models and financial systems. Moderated by Samira Karrach, the panel featured Jeremy Firster, Rishabh Gupta, Sunil Sharma, and Bibin Babu, who discussed the core principles of Web3 and how they challenge existing centralized models. The conversation highlighted the potential for Web3 technologies to create more transparent, efficient, and inclusive economic systems, paving the way for the next generation of enterprises.

A Web3 Summit panel titled “Decentralized vs. Centralized Exchanges: The Future of Trading” brought together four experts from decentralized and centralized exchanges to discuss the growing dynamics between the two industry sub-sectors. The discussion illuminated some technical, operational, and compliance challenges shared by and unique to these respective industry segments.
Token2049 Excitement Builds
While the entire series of events at Dubai Blockchain Week is worth attending, the acclaimed Token2049 conference is the crown jewel. The staff is greeting guest speakers, and networking events based around this major conference are starting, with Token2049 Coffee Hour being an excellent opportunity to meet and greet.
The Decentralized Web3 Investment Conclave also offered excellent insights into how angel investors think about funding aspiring Web3 protocols and applications. A rolling seven-day event, the Conclave will focus on investment banks and corporates tomorrow.
